The Book of Ruth-A Story of Love and Redemption is being published as an E-book by Christian Daily Resources. It is a Daily Bible Reading Study of The Book of Ruth. The characters in “The Book of Ruth” deal with loss, lack, and romance. Through their many trials they learn to lean on God and His sovereign will for their lives.
In The Book of Ruth, Ruth was unknown. She was born in a pagan land, but through her relationship with her mother-in-law Naomi she accepted God. When Naomi decided to go back to the Promised Land, Ruth insisted on going with her.
Because of Ruth’s decision to follow Naomi to the Promised Land, and to accept Naomi’s God, Ruth ends up being a part of Jesus Christ’s lineage. She has a book in the Bible named after her and her story has been told throughout the ages. Ruth found her identity in God. She surrendered her life to Him.
On the other hand her sister-in-law Orpah decided to remain in her pagan land with her people and was never spoken of again. You never know what God has in store for you if you surrender your life to Him as Ruth did. -

About This Edition of The Treasury of David:
• Optimized for Kindle
• Active Table of Contents - Quick and easy navigation by volume and Psalm.
• Beautiful Illustrations - 10 original illustrations from the book of Psalms.
This work was first published in weekly installments over a twenty-year span in the London Metropolitan Tabernacle's periodical, The Sword and the Trowel.
Completed sections were released volume by volume, until the seventh and final volume was released in 1885. Within a decade more than 120,000 sets had been sold. The Treasury of David is a superb literary achievement. Eric Hayden, pastor of the Metropolitan Tabernacle a century after Spurgeon's ministry began there, calls this work "Spurgeon's magnum opus." Spurgeon's wife said that if Spurgeon had never written any other work, this would have been a permanent literary memorial.
About the Author
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 – January 31, 1892) was a British Baptist preacher, still known as the "Prince of Preachers". In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. He was part of several controversies with the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and later had to leave that denomination. Throughout his life, Spurgeon suffered from depression and other mental illnesses. In 1857, he started a charity organisation called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
